This colourful Welsh series was established in 2001 following Menna Medi’s success at composing poetry at the National Eisteddfod of Wales. She teamed up with her niece, Bethan Elin Davies, who is a brilliant artist. Menna composes all the verses in the cards and Bethan is responsible for all the designs and freshness of the series.
After testing the market with twenty designs, there are now 90 cards for different occasions, and are all printed in Wales.
The cards are on sale throughout Wales at Welsh bookstores, post offices, newsagents, galleries, a few garages and even at a butcher's shop!
Originally from Llanuwchllyn near Bala, Menna now resides at Groeslon. After 15 years with the BBC, and 10 years with Sain Records, she's now one of the production team on the Heno programme. She has written two novels, she is a member of two amateur dramatic companies and has won thirteen chairs at Eisteddfodau for poetry and prose.
